About Us

We believe that the Scriptures are one complete narrative from Genesis to Revelation and are infallible. We believe the books of the Bible are interrelated and come together to tell God’s story of love and redemption for humanity, centered around and fulfilled in Jesus Christ. We believe God’s Word is living, active, and the source for all eternal truth, guidance, conviction, and revelation both now and forever.

We believe that Scripture teaches there is no forgiveness of sin without the shedding of blood. Christ’s death on the Cross paid the ultimate price for humanity’s sin. Those who have repented for their sins and received Jesus as their Lord and their Savior experience the atoning and finished work of what Christ did on the Cross.

Humanity is lost without a Savior. We believe Jesus Christ is the only source for humanity’s salvation and everyone must be born again in order to be saved. The Lord freely offers salvation to anyone who repents of their sin and confesses Jesus as their Lord. We believe salvation should produce a lifestyle marked by loyal obedience to a loving God.

We believe the Great Commission is fulfilled as we make disciples of Jesus. We define a disciple as: A fully-devoted follower of Jesus who – through the power of the Holy Spirit – demonstrates loyal obedience to Him in every area of life. We believe discipleship is an ongoing process and we encourage every growing believer in Christ to embrace personal spiritual disciplines such as prayer, reading Scripture, Sabbath rest, among others. We also believe that the on-going process of discipleship involves practicing spiritual leadership in our homes and demonstrating God’s love in our communities. We believe growing in spiritual maturity is also a mark of a growing disciple of Christ.

We believe baptism by immersion in water is a public demonstration of a personal decision to walk in loyal obedience and loving allegiance to Christ. We believe baptism demonstrates leaving the kingdom of darkness and identifying as a new creation: members of God’s Kingdom family.

We believe taking Communion is for all believers to do in remembrance for the covenant Christ established through His body and blood. We believe the cup represents Christ blood that was poured out for the remission of humanity’s sin. We believe the bread represents the body of Christ that was broken for us so that in Christ, we can live in wholeness with God and with one another. We believe that communion should be done reverently and regularly until Christ’s Return.

We believe the Church is Christ’s Body of which every believer is a member and that Jesus Christ is the Head. We believe that the Church is a body – not a building – and that believers everywhere are important parts of the Lord’s Body destined to glorify God by loving Him, serving Him, and making Him known to a lost and hurting world.

We believe that the Church is a body of Jews and Gentiles in Messiah who are called to live out a God-given relationship of interdependence and mutual blessing (Rom 11:11- 25; 15:7-27). We believe that Gentile believers do not need to become Jews or take on Jewish lifestyle in order to walk in the ways of the Lord (Acts 15). However, we do encourage Jewish followers of Jesus/Yeshua to remain true to their identity as Jews (1 Cor 7:17-24; Acts 21:17-26). Together, as one new family in Christ, we embrace these distinctions and celebrate this unity together in diversity.

We believe Scripture teaches that the Second Coming of Christ’s Return to earth one day will trigger the resurrection of the believers who died in faith and an eternal separation from God for all unbelievers. We believe Christ will return one day to restore God’s Kingdom order in all things and establish the New Heaven and the New Earth.
