Learn to heal past wounds, embrace triggers as opportunities for growth, and create a nurturing space for your children to thrive as the authors of their own stories. -Tuesdays -6:30 PM Register on our website for details!
  • At DCC we believe discipleship includes loving our neighbors practically. Whether it’s volunteering, donating, or simply praying for those in need, every act of kindness reflects Jesus’ heart. DCC has the opportunity to BE the church and go into the community. We have adopted Pickwick Flats apartments in Mandarin for outreach efforts this summer through Apartment Life. We have an open door to serve residents with community events and need-based acts of care. With your help, we’ve donated chairs for their resident events, delivered Sunday meals to those who can’t make it to a Sunday service, and dropped off care baskets for residents who are sick. Some of the ways you can be a part is: 1) sign up to serve at an event 2) volunteer to deliver a meal 3) donate supplies when needed We will also begin collections for a back to school supplies drive and hand out in August! We have been blessed for the opportunity to serve! #DCCOutreach #loveyourneighbor #stjohnsdcc

At DCC we believe discipleship includes loving our neighbors practically. Whether it’s volunteering, donating, or simply praying for those in need, every act of kindness reflects Jesus’ heart. DCC has the opportunity to BE the church and go into the community. We have adopted Pickwick Flats apartments in Mandarin for outreach efforts this summer through Apartment Life. We have an open door to serve residents with community events and need-based acts of care. With your help, we’ve donated chairs for their resident events, delivered Sunday meals to those who can’t make it to a Sunday service, and dropped off care baskets for residents who are sick. Some of the ways you can be a part is: 1) sign up to serve at an event 2) volunteer to deliver a meal 3) donate supplies when needed We will also begin collections for a back to school supplies drive and hand out in August!
