We are so excited to be offering a brand new 30-day Scripture Journal from the book of Philippians! This journal is specially designed to help you create a deeper connection with the resurrected Jesus and experience the incredible power that raised Him from the dead in your daily life.

PHILIPPIANS SERIES SCHEDULE:

April 7th – “Knowing Christ”
Theme Verse: “I want to know Christ…” - Philippians 3:10a
The heart cry that emerges from the Apostle Paul’s letter to the Philippians is that he would get to know Christ better and that his readers would as well. Practically speaking, if you want to get to know someone better today, what would you do?

April 14th “Knowing Christ through Suffering Well”
Theme Verse: “For you have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ, but also the privilege of suffering for him.” - Philippians 1:29 (NLT)
Jesus promised that there would be times of suffering for both believers and non-believers (Matt. 5:45). However, those who know Christ through hearing and obeying His word will have their spiritual house built on a solid foundation while others’ crumble when suffering comes (see Luke 6:46-49). Paul wants to teach the Philippians how to “suffer well” for Christ.

April 21st - “Knowing Christ through Serving Well”
Theme Verse: “Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.   Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus.” - Philippians 2:4-5 Paul is teaching the young believers in Philippi how to resemble Christ through humility and through the practice of serving one another. In life, we can choose to constantly look for ways to “be served” or we can choose to constantly look for ways to “serve others” - like Christ.

April 28th - “Knowing Christ through Resurrection Power”
Theme Verse: “I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead.  I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death, so that one way or another I will experience the resurrection from the dead!” - Philippians 3:10-11 NLT It’s one thing to “know about Jesus” and quite another to know Him to the point where we “experience” His resurrection power flowing through us in our daily lives. That kind of power causes us to live a refreshed, renewed, and spiritually regenerated life. The Christian life is not about “behavior modification” – it’s about spiritual transformation!

May 5th - “Knowing Christ through Rejoicing Repeatedly”
Theme Verse: “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.” - Philippians 4:4 Happiness is based on what happens to us on the outside. True joy is about what’s happening on the inside! Through knowing Christ, we will experience a joy that the world cannot give to us – and a joy that the world cannot take away from us. Paul was in prison when he wrote this letter, yet he was abounding in joy because Christ was alive in him. It’s easy to get discouraged about what’s happening in spiritual darkness today, but Jesus is the light of the world (John
8:12) and He calls us to be lights in our world (Matthew 5:14-16). By knowing Christ through rejoicing repeatedly, we will shine light bright lights in a dark world.
